How much are we fundraising?

Our total fundraising goal is $13,250! Here is how that breaks down:

  • El Refugio Building Improvements $5000

  • El Refugio Operational Support $5000

  • Local Ladies Rehab Center Serve Day $600

  • Local Seniors Center Serve Day $500

  • Local Breakfast Club Serve Day $250

  • Local Migrant Camp Families Meals + Hampers $700

April 27th - Fresh Cinnamon Bun Sales

Name a tastier way to fundraise money for our Missions Trip to Ensenada, Mexico —we'll wait. But don't wait on these! This Sunday, April 27th, we will be selling fresh-baked cinnamon buns after the service! You might even smell them baking in the oven before the service is over 🤤. Minimum donation is $5 per bun!

May 30th - Farm to Table Dinner
Come join us for a delightful evening at our Farm to Table Dinner event! Indulge in a delicious meal sourced from local farms while supporting El Refugio. The event will be held at 42928 Lumsden Rd, where you can enjoy great food, good company.

El Refugio's primary ministry is Casa Esther where they provide a home for girls who have been pulled from situations of abuse, neglect, and/or trafficking. They provide a safe, supportive, and loving home environment where they are given opportunities in education, life skills, and Biblical training to help each individual grow and develop towards her full potential physically, emotionally, educationally and spiritually.

Come hungry—for good food, good company, and good purpose. $50 suggested donation per person. Please RSVP here on the Facebook page by clicking here.

First of all, thank you! 100% of funds donated are going to this project (our missions team members are covering all of their own costs to get down there so that we can do the most good with the funds received).

Now if you would like to donate directly, you can do so in two ways:

  • Go to the “Give” tab and pay online (making sure the funds are designated to the Short Term Mexico Missions” fund in the Paypal drop-down menu).

  • Bring cash or cheque, or use our giving machine, on a Sunday
